The fall conference of the Minnesota Library Association is fast approaching (October 9-10), and with it comes the Minnesota Library Foundation’s annual silent auction. Money fundraised helps MLF to underwrite valued programs like the Minnesota Institute for Leadership Excellence (MILE) and annual Minnesota Author Project contest.

MLF is currently soliciting donations for the 2025 auction. Eligible items include event tickets, gift cards, certificates for service (e.g., spas), themed baskets, handmade items, or new/unused purchased items. Digital gift cards are also welcomed. Click here for more details – including submission deadlines. Donations can be dropped off at a number of Minnesota libraries for routing through the Minitex/ILL courier service.

Don’t have something to donate, and not intending to attend MLA in St. Cloud this year? You can still have a hand in the auction and its mission through online bidding! (Note: You must sign up for an account on 23auctions to bid online.) Bidding opens October 9 and closes October 25, according to MLF.
