Minnesota Department of Education
Minnesota Library Association and its division of Library Trustees and Advocates
Association of Library Trustees, Advocates, Friends and Foundations (ALTAFF), a division of the American Library Association
Directors and staff of all library types in Minnesota

That the free exchange of ideas between like minded groups creates a rich environment for creative projects and successful work.
That citizens in any community can have an important and immediate impact on the success of their library.
That Minnesotans care about their community libraries and are willing to take action to support them.
That Friends of the Library groups are more than the sum of their parts; that great things are achieved when people get behind something they care about.
