Joining MALF promotes the free exchange of ideas among Friends of the Library groups in Minnesota and helps MALF to carry out its mission.

  • An opportunity to apply for the Evy Nordley Award for Best Project of the Year by Friends of the Library - our flagship award
  • Members-only quarterly print newsletters
  • Advice on select topics, and referrals to consultant versed in Friends issues as appropriate
  • A statewide voice for Friends, at the local, regional and national levels
